Home Remedies for Acne

We all have dealt with Acne sometime in are life's, some of us are still dealing with Acne today. So the best way to treat an acne breakout, is the most basic way to treat acne, wash face and don't pick the zits. There will probably be times when you will need something a little stronger to fight a breakout. You will be happy to know that since acne doesn't discriminate against age, the acne fighting agents do not either. know matter your age you should be able to find something to cure your breakout.

One Home Remedy is toothpaste

Toothpaste is a good thing to use for acne, the mint ingredient in toothpaste dries out the pimples.

How to use Toothpaste

1. Use only a dab of toothpaste on each pimple, completely cover pimple.

2. Place a bandage on each pimple. If your face has a lot of acne you can skip this step.

3. Toothpaste needs to be left on for 2hrs. You may feel some tingling on your face or around the area.

4. Take bandage off and wash face carefully with a mild soap and warm water.

5. Don't rub with a towel, pat your face dry.

If for some reason toothpaste is to harsh for your skin another thing you could try is Tea Tree Oil.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has anti - fungal, anti - bacterial and anti - viral qualities. It comes from the leaves of the Australian Melaleuca Alternafolea Tree. Tea tree oil can also be used for Athletes foot, body odor and it has been used for Acne. It has been proven effective in fighting acne bacteria.

Does it Work? Yes and No

It helps lesson the symptoms of inflamed skin do to acne bacteria. But most of you will be sensitive to it.

But just remember like all other acne treatments this is not a cure.

Tea Tree Oil is another home remedy that can be used in treating acne.

When you start out using tea tree oil, you should start out with a mild dose. Try it in a small areaof skin. If your skin gets red or aggravated you need to stop using or get a lower dose.

Here's how to use

Get tea tree oil, dilute with pure Aloe Vera.( You can find Tea tree oil in health food stores and online ). Use only a drop or two of tea tree oil per ounce of aloe to start out with. Dab on to pimples and gently rub into skin. You may have itching, sting, and some burning and dryness.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Another acne fighter is apple cider vinegar. It has Alpha - hydroxy acids, It helps remove fatty deposits on the skin and it regulates the PH balance in the skin. This will result in softer and smoother skin.

Here how to make your acne treatment solution. You will need plain cider vinegar, It can be harsh on the skin, so you will need to dilute it with water. The best rule is one part cider vinegar to eight parts water. This is equal to 1Tbs. of cider vinegar to 1 cup water. Store in glass container. Some people may add crushed up aspirin to the solution, aspirin has saliclic acid that will help drying up pimples. Use this as a spot treatment. You can use cider vinegar for blemish and pimples. Use a cotton ball with some of the cider vinegar solution on it. That was made ahead of time. Dab directly on any blemish, pimple, zits you have. Your cider vinegar solution can also be used as a toner. Wash your face as you always do, then splash solution on face in place of regular toner.

Drink it

You can also use the vinegar as a detox drink. Helps tp cleanse you out from inside. Being healthy inside and out will promote cleaner skin.

Mix 2Tbs of Apple cider vinegar and 1 cup water add some honey to sweeten. Drink
